Our historic home offers lots of beautiful spaces in addition to your private room. Decorated in "Early Auction" each piece has a story. The grounds are over three acres and are peaceful and park like. Listen to relaxing wind chimes, birds of all sorts singing, a nearby church carillon play and an occasional distant train with its nostalgic whistle going by. If you're feeling energetic, how about the classic game of croquet - we have a regulation size pitch, though not as flat, which makes it more challenging and all the game essentials.
When we found Causey Mansion we were looking for our perfect retirement home. Keeping it as a B&B was an option and one that we are happy to have chosen, but Causey Mansion is our home first and foremost. Many of the positive comments we have received reflect this and people like the fact that we treat them like friends and family when they are staying with us. We want you to feel at home when you are here. Make yourself a pot of coffee mid day, join us for a card game in the evening, grab one of our many books and find a nice reading getaway or share a bottle of wine on our terrace.
